Knowledge

Knowledge is the facts your avatar should treat as ground truth: documents, answered questions, and other names they go by. The avatar pulls from this on every turn.

Documents

Upload PDF, Markdown, TXT, or DOCX files. Each document is chunked and made retrievable per conversation turn. Long documents are fine.

Free-form text

Skip files for short additions. Paste raw text directly into the knowledge text field. This is useful for one-off facts, talking points, or links you want the avatar to reference.

Questionnaire

Answer prompts like "What are the top values that guide your life?" or "What hobbies do you enjoy most?" There are 35+ optional questions covering background, interests, work, and relationships. Skip the ones that don't apply.

Known aliases

Add the other names your avatar is known by: handles, stage names, nicknames. The avatar will recognize and respond to all of them.

News & social feeds

Connect live sources so the avatar can reference current events and your own posts.

Under Add a source, pick one of the shortcuts — Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), RSS Feed, Substack, or World News — or click Browse all to see every available connector. Some platforms (like Facebook and LinkedIn) require an extra setup step to choose which page or feed to pull from.

Connected sources show up above the shortcut buttons. Use the info icon to inspect a source, or the × to remove it. System sources (like World News API) are attached by default.

Knowledge from new sources can take a few minutes to process and reflect in your avatar.
